Returning home with a new friend!

Odo decided to end the game of secrecy and go on the offensive so to speak. Odo took a deep breath and looked at the 2. He extended his mind out to include them both while still keeping his mind blocked. It was an easier task than looking at 2 minds since they were bonded so close already but it still was an incredible feat. Odo then listened and waited to see if they would respond to his intrusion.

Hopping off the rock, the small dragon padded over, curling his upper lip once or twice showing fangs. By then combining his mental strength with Killaca's they broke the mental wall.

She asks a veritable question.

she stood and moving like a flash she got close to the man but stopped before she hit his wards saying in the Ancent language "Why do you stare?"

he laughed a quick laugh and stood to his full height. he was tall actually about 6'5. He looked at the 2 with his dark eyes. he was not garbed in his usual armor but his sword was still around his hilt. The sword was full of so much raw energy that is glowed in the minds of all who were near it. for 500 years it had been increased by Odo and his closest friends and allies. Odo looked at the 2 and laughed again his eyes sparkled and he finally spoke. "you are a dragon rider and dragon I have not seen this in a long time" He said his voice full of relief and satisfaction.

Her eyes narrowed and said "Ok but you could have made yourself known!" She turned her mind to her green and said your name shall be Belor

a new mind apeard only yards away. aiedail licked her back spine and stared at the hatchling. " boren eh? fits him."

"im known now obviously" Odo said quickly as he turned away from Killaca and looked at the flying dragon and muttered quickly and quietly to himself "the dragons are returning to the land this is a great time to live in" Odo shielded his mind but sent it out far enough towards the dragon coming in to reach hers.

Killaca stepped back to stand by Belor.

the mind opend cautiously (shes not flying) she only let him in enough just to exchange words. " how old is the hatchling? and has he eaten enough?" she yawned with her gravely voice.

Killaca spoke up and said "He is a few days old! and he has just eaten!" she knew well enough to not get on the bad side of a dragon.

"hm, good. but make sure he hunts on his own. and its better that he eats all the time. he needs to grow faster so he can get strong enough to fly." Aiedail got up. she was almost 2 1/2 times bigger than odo. but she ignored it. she walked quielty to killaca. " and your a good one to take care of him.elf."

Odo kept in the dragons mind but did not respond for the girl had already resoonded . He had no reason to respond and was not fond of petty conversation with those that he just met. He looked from the hatchling to the wild dragon to the girl and decided that this was going to get interesting. Odo ignored the dragon passing him by and continued to be still

Belor sent a private message to the large dragon. Hello friend, I have been learning the languages these past few days. And deer has definitely been good to me.

His first kill was the only one i have made for him!" She said. When the dragon gave her a compliment she bowed and said "Thank you! your opinion means alot to me!" she smiled at Belor's words glad he could talk now.

Aiedails eyes softend. no one knew why, only belor. she sent a private message also. " good, make sure you eat as much as you need. you have alot of growing to do." she turned to killaca. " by the way, my name is Aiedail. what is your elf? and male elf?"

"I am killaca and i was just trying to find out why he was watching us!"

Odo cackled with laughter and soon stopped "I am Odo master of magic among the elves." Odo quickly bowed to Aiedail then backed up a bit to let Aiedail talk to the new rider and her dragon without disturbance from him.

"magic eh? good." she nodded in agknowledgement and turned back to killica

Enjoying the company of his elder dragon, Belor leapt onto Aiedail's back once again, surveying his surroundings. As it so happens, I am hungry once again. I will be back. He then leapt off into the trees, promising Killaca his return, and emphasizing his trust in the larger dragon.

Killaca felt Belor move farther from her mind. Her eyes closed from the feeling her heart was leaving.

a low rumble erutpted in aiedails chest. she was amused by the little kid. but she kept half of her mind tracking his whereabouts. she layed down genlty, only a few feet from killaca. " tell me this killaca. how does it feel to have another mind eternally linked to yours?"

"It feels... Open! More so than i have been use to though i think i am growing to like it quickly!"

" hm, good. life is fine as long as you have someone to share it with." her eyes were half open.

She nodded. The bond with Belor was still weak and she felt him disapear from her minds reach she stiffened her body trembling hard .

Moments later, Belor came back, trailing not a deer but the body's of multiple large rodents, dragging them by their tails. Easily having a dozen of them, when he reached the group again, he pushed a few over towards Aiedail, keeping most to his growing self.
