Returning home with a new friend!

Nestling up, the little dragon yawned again, showing nearly fully developed jaws. Even on the ride home he had grown, being a few inches longer already. In perhaps a days time he would be too large for the nest.

Killaca sighed looking at how the dragon had grown. So sighed and sent an thought of going for a walk outside so it could get something to eat.

The dragon uncurled, rolling itself out of the nest and onto the ground, padding it's way past Killaca to the door. It then turned and sat, waiting for her.

It liked food.

Killaca Pushed the cloth flap door and walked out glad that she lived in a less populated area.

Breaking intoa small lopsided sprint, the dragon was out of the hut and jogging through the trees in no time. Moments later, he had found a decent sized deer, lowering himself to the ground.

In minutes, he found Killaca, dragging a deer behind him by the neck.

Killaca sighed seeing the dead beast. She moved to a rock not far away and watched the green eat.

It was almost as if the dragon smirked. As he enjoyed his meal he noticed that the elf sat alone, thinking to herself. As he garborated his meat, he kicked over a leg, offering some to her. It was never fun to eat alone.

Killaca smiled at the thought the dragon but shook her head fighting off the urge to throwup.

Odo watched from the sidelines his mind carefully shielded from the dragon and the girl. He had not seen a dragon in a long time and marveled at the sight of a young one and his rider. He had his wards protecting him from attack if they should jump at him and again his mind was shielded

Seeing her shake his head, the little one tackled the leg, gnawing on it from the wet end. Rolling around with it, he seemed to be rather playing then eating, perhaps already mostly full. When he was done, he kicked the remaining bone aside, laying down, seemingly a little bored now. Again he looked significantly bigger, possibly his higher metabolism allowing him to grow with nourishment.

Killaca chuckled standing up. she touched it mind likely saying hello softly really wanting to know when it would start to talk so she would know whether it was a he or a she.

The little one had been, in honesty scanning as many thoughts and memories as it could. In this way it was slowly learning the elven language, as well as that of the humans and dwarves. Intelligent for it's age, a few more days and it would probably have mastered them, speaking perfectly. For now, it answered her greeting.

Hello, Killaca.

Her smile grew as she heard the words from the green. she knelt near it offering to scratch it where it wanted. She was learning more about this green than she thought she would know about dragons in her long life time.

The dragon rolled over, letting her fingers roll over his belly where his claws could not quite reach.

There's something over there as well, a hole in nature. He formed an image in her mind, aiming her attention off to the woods. He had sensed someone, or something attempting not to be sensed, but even in his small form, his powers of perception were still far greater then any elf's.

Killaca stiffened slightly sending her mind out to search for the true location. She said to the dragon with her mind let us wait and see what that person does though i am not unready for anything!

Neither am I, but I don't believe I yet have all the skills I could to aid you.

Rolling his eyes back, the little green dragon relaxed, a long itch finally being relieved. Well, as long as he had been hatched anyhow. Although he was relaxed, his mind still checked periodically on the obstruction, noting that it wasn't moving. At all. Whatever it was, it stood stock still, probably another elf.

Can you fly yet? If you can then if the person does something you can fly and i will run! she said running her fingers over the belly scales.

The little one shook his head.

My wings are not yet large enough. not that I've tried yet.

He rolled over onto his feet again this time, leaping onto a large rock. But tell me your story, Killaca, I'm sure mine is rather short compared to yours.

Well i am over a 100 years old! i have traveled all around Du Wendenvarden and running is a stress release for me though i havent had to do it to often but pretty much i am or was boring before you hatched! she said crossing her legs infront of her to watch the green.

Interesting... and are you going to refer to me as you throughout our entire relationship. He then seemed to release a mental form of chuckle, turning his head to look towards the disturbance once more.

Odo stood motionless standing in the forest. He was not fazed in the slightest that they had noticed him. He in face was amused by the fact that they had discovered him hiding there for that meant that either the girl or the dragon was very good at things like this. He chuckled in his mind and wondered what his next move would be. He continued to look although he now crouched and shielded his mind with 2x the force as before.

The obstruction became stronger. It wasn't that the dragon could read Odo's mind at this point, it could read the emptiness, as if felt everything from nature, then nothing in a very distinct spot.

He's trying harder. He knows that he's been discovered. Interesting. The dragon licked one of it's claws, a look of mild amusement on it's face.

she stood and moving like a flash she got close to the man but stopped before she hit his wards saying in the Ancent language \"Why do you stare?\"

The dragon paused, thinking, the commenced his preening once again.

I like them all, they are all powerful masculine names for a dragon. I am honored.
