Odo's home

Odo took no notice of her and began to form an image of his new trainee that had yet to arrive. He expected him to soon arrive for he sensed a new pressure close by but to make the new rider feel at home he did not push his mind to see the others thoughts but patiently waited lying down on the grassy floor.

Lamir whistled as he came upon the door to the house. He thought he was a nature enthusiast. He knocked on the door and said awkwardly.
"Uhh....I'm here elf. A big scary dragon told me to find you?"

Odo quickly jumped up and opened the door and looked at the man. He examined his features carefully and noted his sword and welcomed him in. "that dragon has been scaring alot of people recently..." odo trailed off as he showed Lamir inside.

After traveling around the land for weeks, Elanor finally came upon someone's house. She walked cautsiously to it "If i'm lucky i might be able to get a free meal." Closer and closer she got until she cautsiously stepped through the door.

"She charred my cloak and called my dragon a snowball. But I suppose I probably shouldn't have called her a hag." Lamir said humorously, bowing slightly as he walked into the home. Again, he whistled at the sight.

"you must always humble yourself before a dragon especially one who is as mighty as she... but sometimes it does pay to screw up tradition and mess with them as much as they mess with us." Odo quickly pushed his mind into Lamir's and forced the memories of lessons 1 and 2 into his conciouss so he would watch them. While Lamir was doing this Odo looked at the newcomer and resisted the urge to kneel before the queen. She was not supposed to know who she was yet. Odo called her over and offered her some soup.

Knowing she got caught before she could do anything. She gracefully kneeled down "I'm sorry for sneaking into your home. I would love a bowl of soup." Getting up she walked over to Odo.

"Woah. That was weird." Lamir said, shaking his head. "So I am to learn of magic?"

"yes and no but first you will battle me while this newcomer eats her soup and enjoys my home..." Odo paused hesitatly then spoke loud enough for her to hear "unless she plans on joining in?"

"Um. Well, I am an impressive brawler no doubt... But I have heard many things about the skill of an elf.... And the strength of a Rider's blade." Lamir said, rubbing the hilt of his dagger nervously.

"we are not to fight to kill... well im not anyways but you may well need to anyways pick up your blade and attack" Odo stood ready he had repared his leather armor from the cut placed upon by Killaca and had his sword sheathed and only his wards protecting him against all manor of attack but magical and mental.

Elanor bowed again to Odo. "I would be honored to train with you, and i cannot take this soup unless i have earned it." Looking around at there blades they carried, she let out a sigh because of her bladeless self.

"Fine." Lamir said, unsheathing his dagger. He looked over at the elf. He took his sword that he barely ever used from the sheath and offered it to her."I fight with daggers, not swords." He said, holding it out to her.

Elanor takes the sword and inspects it. "It will do," Pushing her hair aside from her face she stares at Odo, "When shall we fight?"

"no time better than the present" Odo said as he shrugged. His hand rested on the hilt of his blade and pushed it forward a bit but he did not unsheath it or move in any way. "go ahead" he said in a powerful voice he had not used until then with either of the 2 newcomers

"You want first?" He offered the stranger. He felt a bit uncomfortable, being the only human here. But he didn't show it. Everyone was a friend, no matter the race.

"No matter either of you come and attack me" Odo stated plainly. He didnt care who attacked him and he realeased his grip on the sword and flung his hands into the air to show his mind was free of cares on the attacker.

Lamir sighed, and took off his cloak. He chucked a simple, wooden dagger from his leather vest straight for the elf's chest. No doubt a simple and unimpressive move, but he wasn't about to go full force on a stranger with a sharp knife without being provoked.

Elanor used the sword and swung at Odo. "I will not be shown up by this young man over there."

stepped back with incredible speed. He was just out of the reach of the blade and well passed where the small weak dagger was aimed at. Odo did not change his body position but merely stood as he had stood before looking forward.

Lamir tossed two metal daggers with expert accuracy and speed. He hoped the elf would have some sort of magic protecting him, because these daggers hurt.

Elanor smiled "Your fast." She charged to the older elf's backside and held him still.

Odo laughed loudly and almost meniacly as he let the elf woman grab him. Odo pushed out his chest towards the daggers and let his wards push them off using less than a 900th of his power. He then did a kind of squat move on the elf woman's hand to get her to let go or break her hands under his falling weight.

As the daggers deflected, two more shot toward his foot. Lamir was smiling now.
"A drink after the spar? Its a tradition of mine." Lamir said, laughing a bit as he grabbed two more daggers from his pocket.

Elanor let go, but inplace of her hand she placed the sword to his throat.
